Copper Clad Copper Wire (CCC Wire)

• The conductivity of CCC wire is about 25%~27%, whilst DC resistivity is about four times that of oxygen free copper wire (OFC wire). Because of the skin effect that exists in all conductors, at high frequencies over 5MHz, CCC wire provides the same resistance as pure copper wire.
• CCC wire has a specific gravity of 8.4. At the same weight and diameter, the length of copper clad copper wire is 5% greater than that of pure copper wire.
• The tensile strength of CCC wire is 1/4 higher than that of ordinary conductors, this prevents the wire breakage during production process, thus improving production efficiency and reducing manufacturing cost.
• Due to the concentric cladding of pure copper on the surface of wire core, CCC wire is characterized by a same solderability as pure copper wire.

This copper clad copper wire is widely used as conductor or shielding material for communication cable, signal cable, shielded cable, coaxial cable, and data transmission cable.
